As a manufacturer of refrigeration systems and heat pumps for industrial and commercial applications, SECON GmbH has been developing solutions since 2010 for industrial refrigeration, process cooling, building cooling, data center cooling, as well as heat generation and waste heat recovery. Since its founding, all systems have been consistently designed for operation exclusively with natural refrigerants such as R290 (propane), R1270 (propene), R600a (isobutane), R744 (CO₂), and R729 (air). Synthetic refrigerants have never been part of the product portfolio.

SECON systems are not off-the-shelf products but are designed individually and tailored to each specific project. Modular enclosures, in-house control panel manufacturing, and an in-house control systems department enable flexible solutions that are precisely tailored to the respective processes.

The portfolio includes chillers, recirculating coolers, deep-freeze units, heat pumps, and custom system solutions for industrial and commercial applications. From the initial design consultation through commissioning, experienced engineers support every project with in-depth technical expertise.

Our systems are precisely tailored to our customers’ individual operating conditions, ensuring maximum energy efficiency and optimal performance. A wide range of configuration options allows for flexible adaptation to project-specific requirements in commercial and industrial applications.

At our corporate headquarters in Gondelsheim, we manufacture small production runs and prototypes, while our premium systems are produced in Croatia. Both locations adhere to the highest quality and safety standards. With over 1,735 systems installed, we have extensive experience, making us a leading provider of cooling and heating systems that use exclusively natural refrigerants in German-speaking countries.

Energy-efficient refrigeration with cooling capacities ranging from 5 to 1,300 kW and flow temperatures from −35 to +25 °C, using exclusively natural refrigerants from SECON. The air- or water-cooled ECOCHILL series operate with R290 or R1270. The systems are individually designed for the respective operating point. Applications include process cooling, building air conditioning, pharmaceutical cooling, and data center cooling.

The portfolio includes air-to-water and water-to-water heat pumps, as well as compact heat pumps. The series are precisely designed for the respective operating conditions and individually adapted to the heat source, temperature level, power requirements, and installation conditions—ranging from industrial hall heating to groundwater and brine applications, as well as waste heat recovery with a booster configuration.

SECON’s FXP series includes space-saving, water-cooled compact chillers and water-to-water compact heat pumps. The series is also available as a high-temperature heat pump and was specifically designed for indoor installation. The units can be operated either as standalone units or in a hydraulic network, making them ideal for retrofit applications in existing buildings.
