The Hydropmeter is an attachment for water meters that digitizes them and makes the information available to customers via an app. This closes the gap in water monitoring for smart homes. In addition to water and energy savings, the real-time view of water consumption offers a fundamental advantage: While water damage is normally discovered only after several days and only when residents are present—if water is leaking somewhere—it can now be detected within minutes, thereby significantly reducing damage by more than 50%.
