formoplast is one of the leading manufacturers of thermoplastic containers for the storage of water-polluting liquids and is a certified specialist company in accordance with the German Water Resources Act (WHG). Substances hazardous to water are solid, liquid and gaseous substances and mixtures that are capable of causing permanent or significant adverse changes to water quality and are considered hazardous to water. Our storage containers ensure safe storage and prevent water-polluting liquids from escaping.

Storage containers made of polyethylene high density (PE-HD) and polypropylene (PP) are good for our environment for the following reasons, among others:

• Reusable and durable: storage containers made from thermoplastics have a long service life. This reduces the need for frequent new purchases, reduces waste and protects the environment.
• Recyclable: Residual materials from production can be regranulated and returned to the production process. Thermoplastics can be recycled at the end of their life cycle and returned to the recycling system. This reduces waste and conserves our resources.
• Resistant to chemicals: Plastics are used where extreme material stresses exist and other materials (e.g. steel) have not proven themselves or are too short-lived and expensive. The high resistance to aggressive media reduces leakages and thus minimizes environmental pollution.
• Low weight, easy transportation: Lightweight containers reduce energy consumption during transportation and thus reduce CO2 emissions.
