What is GreenTech BW Spotlight?
GreenTech BW Spotlight shines a light on the drive and ingenuity of companies from Baden-Württemberg.
Through short, high-quality videos, businesses showcase how they apply forward-looking green technologies in practice
– from pilot projects and test facilities to their first large-scale industrial implementation.
The videos provide clear, engaging insights into how GreenTech works in real-world settings and how companies are making tangible contributions
to the ecological transformation of industry and society.
Application & Selection Criteria
Companies with a site in Baden-Württemberg can apply to take part in GreenTech BW Spotlight with their successfully implemented GreenTech projects. An independent jury made up of representatives from industry, academia, and the
Baden-Württemberg Ministries of Economic Affairs and the Environment selects the winning entries.
Selection is based on clearly defined criteria:
- Degree of innovation and flagship character of the solution
- Contribution to environmental, climate and resource protection
- Practical relevance for business and society
- Transferability to other companies and sectors
- Use of technologies and components from Baden-Württemberg
The second application round will open in March 2026.
These are our first spotlights
What are we looking for?
- We are looking for users of green technologies who contribute to environmental, climate or resource protection through their use of GreenTech.
- The technology must already be implemented within the company’s own operations.
- The applied technology must be assignable to one or more key markets of the GreenTech sector.

Visibility & Dissemination of the Videos
By taking part in GreenTech BW Spotlight, you place your company centre stage and demonstrate in concrete terms
how you implement GreenTech solutions innovatively in practice. Your project will be presented as a practical case study in a professionally produced short film – clear, engaging and closely aligned with your target audience.
You will not only gain visibility, but also receive strong communication material that you can continue to use for your
own public relations activities.
To ensure maximum reach and connect with the right audience, the videos will be promoted via the GreenTech BW
platform’s communication channels.
