The hydropmeter is an attachment for the water meter to digitize it and make the information available to customers in an app. This closes the water monitoring gap in the smart home. In addition to water and energy savings, the live view of water consumption offers an elementary advantage: while water damage is normally only discovered after days and when the occupants are present if water is leaking somewhere, it can now be detected within minutes and damage can thus be significantly reduced by more than 50%.
