ELOVAC® - Vacuum degassing of digested sludge
The problem: methane emissions at wastewater treatment plants:
Wastewater and solid waste management are among the world's largest emitters of methane. Like CO2, methane is a greenhouse gas - but 28 times more harmful than CO2* over a period of 100 years. In wastewater treatment, methane emissions occur primarily in the sludge treatment area and thus worsen the CO2 footprint of wastewater treatment plants.
The solution: Targeted capture of residual methane in digested sludge
By vacuum degassing digested sludge with ELOVAC®, residual methane contained in the sludge is specifically captured and recycled, for example in a CHP plant. This prevents uncontrolled emission of the greenhouse gas into the atmosphere. ELOVAC® thus makes an important contribution to avoiding direct methane emissions and improving the CO2 footprint of the entire wastewater treatment plant.
For wastewater treatment plants with biological phosphorus elimination, there is also the option of integrated phosphate precipitation with ELOVAC®-P. This optimizes sewage sludge dewatering, saves polymer, reduces phosphate backloading and prevents struvite deposits.
ELODRY® - Sewage sludge drying economical, low emission, reliable in operation
ELODRY® is our energy efficient and safe low temperature belt dryer. ELIQUO manufactures the stainless steel dryer in Germany. Special features of ELODRY® are a small footprint and a modular design.
ELOZONIQ - The ozone solution for the 4th purification stage
The ozone solution for the 4th purification stage. Our novel ozone introduction system for the elimination of trace substances, such as pharmaceuticals, lowers ozone consumption and reduces the required reaction time towards zero. The heart of ELOZONIQ is the gas introduction system, the Roturi®. The Roturi distributes the ozone finely and evenly throughout the aqueous solution. This creates a large reaction surface for the gas exchange.
LYSOTHERM® - Thermal Disintegration Without steam. Without chemicals.
LYSOTHERM® is a unique technology for thermal disintegration. Instead of steam or chemicals, we use a pressureless thermal oil system. LYSOTHERM® is designed, planned and manufactured by ELIQUO in Germany.
