The core unit is Max Weishaupt SE in Schwendi with its own in-house research and development institute.
Founded in 1932, the company has been set up as a holding company since 2009: Three companies are combined under the common umbrella, operating in the fields of energy technology, energy generation and energy management.

Energy technology: Weishaupt offers an extensive product range with heat pumps and solar systems for the use of renewable energies, condensing boiler technology for gas and oil as well as burners for gaseous and liquid fuels.

Energy generation: BauGrund Süd has been part of the Weishaupt Group since 2009 and carries out geothermal probe and well drilling for the installation of heat pumps. With a wealth of experience of over 3 million meters of drilling and over 40 highly professional drilling teams, BauGrund Süd is one of the leading companies for the use of near-surface geothermal energy in Europe. In addition, there is the area of subsoil exploration.

Energy management: Neuberger Gebäudeautomation has been part of the Weishaupt Group since 1995 and supplies intelligent building management systems. This enables efficient and cost-saving solutions in the combination of all technical systems such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, lighting, sun protection or security systems of all kinds.
