Our industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation. The sustainable use of raw materials and the consistent conservation of resources are not just buzzwords but very practical challenges in day-to-day business operations. The drilling mud generated by the HDD (horizontal directional drilling) process is a very apt example of this trend. For as elegant and “environmentally friendly” as the trenchless installation method may be on the one hand: water consumption is high, and the illegal disposal of the resulting drilling mud is strictly prohibited by law. Precisely for this reason, avoiding and minimizing the amount of drilling mud that needs to be disposed of is urgently necessary and economically sensible.

The MUDCLEANER recycling plant handles the entire treatment of drilling mud generated by the HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) process. This enables the reuse of process water multiple times, thereby minimizing the volume of mud requiring disposal and reducing water consumption. It also increases the drilling rig’s efficiency by eliminating trips to obtain fresh water and dispose of drilling mud. The resulting cost savings can be easily calculated on our website.



This recycling process runs fully automatically, is displayed in detail on a screen, and can be controlled from any drilling rig. This high level of user-friendliness makes it possible to operate the vehicle completely independently after just a single, brief training session.



This makes the MUDCLEANER TRUCK an outstandingly innovative solution for small and medium-sized projects with a throughput of up to 150 cubic meters per day. The result: maximum autonomy for all HDD projects, regardless of location.

At 218.8 million metric tons, mineral waste accounts for the largest waste stream by mass in the Federal Republic of Germany (Source: Bundesvereinigung Recycling-Baustoffe e. V.). This enormous volume of material consists of soil and rocks, construction debris, road rubble, and other mineral-based construction site waste. Max Wild offers comprehensive recycling expertise and state-of-the-art processing technologies to manage these volumes in an environmentally and economically sustainable manner, thereby generating reusable secondary raw materials from mineral waste. Recycled building materials promote the circular economy, conserve natural resources, reduce the need for landfill capacity, lower emissions, and can save on construction costs.
