Sealing of air duct systems / air/air conditioning systems for increased energy efficiency, hygiene & comfort
Air ducts of air-conditioning systems as well as their components, show leakages of 15% and more of the air volume flow. With the Aeroseal process, these leakages can be almost completely eliminated, resulting in energy savings of up to 50% and more.
In addition to increasing energy efficiency, it significantly increases the amount of air reaching each zone, thereby providing higher indoor air quality.
The process can be applied with little effort in existing buildings and in new buildings and pays for itself in a very short time.
Leak tests for air handling systems according to EN 12599 (EN 1507, EN 12237) or EN 16798-3
The minimum requirement for ventilation and air-conditioning systems is tightness class B (ATC4) in most cases, and for higher hygiene requirements in accordance with VDI 6022 or EN 15780, tightness class C (ATC3). With newer technologies such as the Aeroseal process, it is even possible to guarantee tightness class D or better (ATC 2 or ATC 1) and thus achieve the maximum level of energy efficiency.
