Information
About Us
We are an engineering firm specializing in sustainable refrigeration and heat pump technology.
Our focus is on developing highly efficient and durable systems that use only natural refrigerants.
Our Mission
We strive to revolutionize the industry by implementing innovative flagship projects that promote the use of natural refrigerants.
Our Approach
Our customers’ needs are always our top priority. We begin with a comprehensive analysis of their processes to identify all challenges and potential conflicts. Armed with this in-depth understanding, we use our technical expertise to find or design the perfect solutions.
Comprehensive Project Support
We support projects from the initial idea and workshops through to implementation and beyond. This includes maintenance, service, and sustainable disposal of our systems throughout the entire lifecycle of the technology.
Our Core Areas
Processes such as freezing, freeze-drying, gas liquefaction, and separation.
Cryogenic supply chains, from transportation to fully automated systems.
Integration and optimization of heating and cooling systems for factories and production facilities.
Are you facing challenges in process or plant engineering?
Let's work together to develop the best solution for your processes!
Services
Engineering Services for Product Development
We offer and develop turnkey refrigeration solutions tailored to your needs. We prefer to break new ground and think outside the box. Examples of solutions we have already developed include:
freeze-drying systems, exhaust air purification systems, deep-freeze chambers, blood plasma freezers, and steel hardening systems.
Consulting and Technical Planning - Waste Heat Recovery
1. Determining the Potential Using Producer Data
The first step is to determine the potential for energy recovery. This is usually done simply by analyzing supplier data from annual bills for primary energy sources such as gas and oil, as well as the electricity consumption of key components like chillers, which collect waste heat from the plant via the chilled water. This reveals how much primary energy can be replaced with waste heat.
2. Determining Actual Demand—Collecting, Measuring, and Analyzing Data
To determine actual demand, the major consumers are identified and analyzed. This requires an on-site inspection, documentation, and measurement data from the various systems. Here, additional local potential is often identified through simple measures such as lowering temperature levels, control systems, insulation, and hydraulic balancing.
3. PINCH Analysis of Heat Sources and Sinks
The data is systematically consolidated in a PINCH analysis, and different operating conditions are broken down by time—such as day and night, summer and winter—and by peak loads, such as batch processes. This provides a detailed view of the individual potentials along with the necessary temperature differences.
4. Development of Measures
Based on the PINCH analysis, various measures are developed, such as the installation of heat pumps, energy storage systems, free cooling, and the integration of processes. For heat pumps, the following applies: The higher the temperature difference, the lower the efficiency. Therefore, heating demand is met by progressing from cold to warm.
5. Economic Feasibility Analysis with Engineering Report
Points 1 through 4 are summarized in a detailed engineering report that provides you with meaningful recommendations to guide your decisions.
6. Project Support
We also support you in implementing the measures, such as planning the layout and hydraulics, preparing functional descriptions, conducting risk assessments, and verifying the effectiveness of the measures.
