Subitec offers turnkey plants for the production of microalgae including cyanobacteria, consisting of individual cultivation modules and the associated support and cultivation infrastructure. At the core of the cultivation modules are unique photobioreactors that gently and highly efficiently perform photosynthesis based on the patented Flat Panel Airlift technology(FPA). The reactor design developed by the Fraunhofer Institute meets the requirements of almost any microalgae for a successful production process: from the pre-culture and scale-up phase through industrial microalgae production and desired product formation to harvesting.
